Proms are certainly an occasion to go all out, but one teen has surpassed her classmates with a jaw-dropping Kardashian-inspired look for the big night.

Faith Thigpen, 16, from Jackson, Mississippi, sported a $1,995 (£1,558) 'Showstopper' body suit by designer Angel Brinks, customizing her look with a train and a jeweled face mask. 

According to the Clarion Ledger, the teenager took inspiration for her 1920s-style prom outfit from the dazzling ensembles that Kylie - and her family - wore to a Great Gatsby-themed birthday party thrown to celebrate Kris Jenner's 60th.

'My mom and I saw pictures from the Kardashians’ Gatsby-themed blinged-out party, and we were immediately inspired!' the teen revealed. 

Kylie wore a stunning silver gown, covered in sparkling beads, and she recreated the look again in Balmain for the 2016 Met Gala. 

Since uploading photos of her big night to Instagram, Faith has received hundreds of thousands of likes on her pictures.
